United Islamia Govt High School is the central or the zilla school of Madaripur.The school was
founded in 1948 so it is one of the oldest schools of Madaripur district.The name of this
school was not as present.There were two schools named “ Islamia High School ” and
“ Madaripur High School “.These school got attached and since then the name of this school
is “ United Islamia Govt High School,Madaripur “.It is the story behind this
school’s name. Hamid Akand Sir was the opening head master of this school.The school was
nationalized in 1968 .
This school has classes
from three to ten.The schools has almost 2500
students in total.School have two shifts.Teachers
are separated for each shift.
United Islamia Govt High School has a large area with 5 brick build
buildings 1 student’s hostel and a big pond with fresh water.This school has a huge play ground.Students along with local people play in tha ground.Enviroment of this school is so education friendly.
